Broadcom’s AEDR-9930E and AEDR-9930EL three-channel reflective optical encoders with selectable and programmable options are available in three-channel digital differential A, B, and I outputs.
The AEDR-9930E and AEDR-9930EL digital encoder modes offer two-channel (AB) quadrature digital outputs and a third-channel digital index output. Being TTL compatible, the outputs of these encoders can be interfaced with most signal processing circuitries, providing easy integration and flexible design into existing systems.
The AEDR-9930E and AEDR-9930EL encoders are designed to operate over -40°C to +115°C temperature range and are suitable for commercial, industrial, and automotive end applications.
These encoders house an LED light source and photo-detection circuitry in a single package. The small size of 5.00 mm (L) × 5.00 mm (W) × 1.05 mm (H) allows them to be used in a wide range of miniature commercial applications where size and space are primary concerns.
