Security Pattern is an innovative start-up founded in 2017 in Italy, its core business is consultancy and development of innovative security solutions for embedded systems.

Security Pattern supports customers from the initial phase of the project with the definition of security requirements, selection of building blocks, development of hardware and software components for ASIC, FPGA and microcontrollers.

Security Pattern provides development methodologies for customers who need to demonstrate a ‘secure by design’ approach, like in the cases of Common Criteria, ISA/IEC 62443 or ISO 27001. We are the first Italian cyber security company certified with IEC 62443-4-1:2018 standard.

The offer from Security Pattern is IoT cybersecurity oriented and embraces the security by design approach to help customers in developing secure embedded systems. We would support the customer in all the development phases of the system, starting from high level specification, to architecture definition, development, operation, maintenance and decommissioning.

• Setup and tools for a secure manufacturing process, with protected generation of digital identities and provisioning of key material to devices.
• Definition of secure protocols over wired or wireless communication channels, such as Bluetooth, including end-to-end protection over multiple links.
• Trainings in security topics, both introductory and advanced, and security-related certifications such as ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001, etc.
• Vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on embedded devices.
• Services for continuous monitoring of vulnerabilities for fleets of products.
