TDK Corporation offers its VLS-HBU Series of Surface Mount Wire Wound Power Inductors. The VLS-HBU power inductors are magnetically shielded, wire-wound inductors with a metallic magnetic core material. The core material of the VLS-HBU series has been improved, resulting in a higher rated current specification than previous VLS series. This series achieves high withstanding voltage due to the insulating technology of its metallic core material. Featuring an inductance range from 3.3µH to 22µH, a current rating of 0.75-2.36 A, a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, and a low profile component height of 1.0mm and 1.2mm max, the inductors are designed for use in several visual display applications.
