NXP GreenChip USB Type-C AC-DC controllers are part of NXP’s highly efficient GreenChip solutions, offering extremely low standby power and high efficiency to meet multiple energy standards. Primary-side controllers for SMPS applications enable low-cost solutions up to 75 W, switching between operating modes to maximize efficiency. The controllers consume very little current and have various features to minimize switching losses, and the TEA19363T offers an active x-capacitor discharge function. TEA1993TS and TEA1998TS secondary side synchronous rectifier controllers integrate the sensing and drive stages and have adaptive gate drive to maximize efficiency across load conditions. The controllers can generate their own supply voltage and have a typical no-load supply current of less than 200 µA.
