Watch Tyson as he demonstrates a water clarity sensor using ams OSRAM TSL2591 ambient light sensor featuring dual photodiodes. The dual photodiode uses both visible light and infrared light allowing for a closer human eye response. It also allows for a wider dynamic range so it can be used under colored glass.
