Nidec Components offers their surface-mount position detect switches

Image of Nidec Components ' CL-DA and CL-DB SeriesNidec Components ' detect switches are designed for position detection and are compatible with AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA specifications. These ultra-compact RoHS-compliant switches feature gold plated contacts and gull-wing terminations. Normally open or normally closed contacts can be specified in the CL-DA Series. Available in side actuation or side/top actuation models, these switches are pick-and-place compatible and are available in 1,000 piece tape-and-reel packaging.

  • Detection of AMCs in medical electronic equipment
  • Detection for hot swap in AdvancedTCA applications
  • Detection of payment cards in vending or ATM machines
  • Detection of media (DVD, etc.) in AV equipment
  • Detection for hot swap in MicroTCA applications
